Thawed, renounced thee I became a tardy discernment of myself  Explanation : What if a candle which gives light fall in ' love' with darkness? Candle melts itself to become the darkness, finally when it is about to be put off completely. It realizes that it was not meant to be in the way of darkness. It was supposed to give light (Joy) to others not darkness (Sorrow) which it understands very late. This metaphor holds for relationships too. In persuading a wrong relationship one can lose oneself.
